We visited it in 2006 during our trip through Colorado. There is a beautiful park to explore, similar to Garden of the Gods, all around the concert area. Many famous concerts have been performed there over the years. I think the very first rock and roll concert performed there was by the Beatles in 1964 and U2 played their now famous show there in 1982. It is REALLY an impressive sight, the open air theater, it has rocks just like this one in your pic, jutting out all around, and you are up so high in elevation that you can see all the way across downtown Denver. So, anyone who loves red rocks, like we do, and music, should definitely stop in and see that too! Even when there isn't a concert going on, it's still a great park to explore! :)
p.s. It's probably a TAD crowded this week though...with the DNC in town :)

It reminds me, if you love red rocks, you should also visit the Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre near Denver.
