Did you guys see or try any of the spigots there where you can taste test the mineral springs? I guess they are scattered about, look like fountains, have different themes in design.
Are you going to experience any of the hot springs or spas? We haven't tried out the mineral water of the Manitou region, but we did visit Pagosa Springs, Colorado....much farther southwest....and we took a dip in their natural hot springs. It was awesome but the "egg" smell from the suplhur dioxide was quite strong! It permeates the air. It took us a while to get use to it! Actually, I never really did. haha. But it was still fun!
ok woops, my smarty-pants husband has helped me out here, not only did I misspell the word (big surprise), and then insert a typo into it (further shock, I know), but I used the wrong chemical altogether!....I should have said: hydrogen sulfide. Well, all I know is that is was a very pungent odor and I didn't love it and neither one of us wanted to eat eggs for 6 months.
