Looks a lot less crowded & relaxing than the pancake breakfast in Santa Fe on the 4th! We had 12,000 people (literally) in line for our "pancakes on the Plaza"...when the morning ended the total numbers were: 700 gallons of pancake batter used, 700 gallons of orange juice poured, 7,200 half pint boxes of milk served, 500 pounds of sausages and 1,000 pounds of ham eaten. It was all donated by local companies and volunteers worked the skillets. The event ended up raising $80,000.00 for Santa Fe charities though, all via donations. It was chaotic..haha.. but really fun and lively.
