Ruidoso, NM

The above is a photo of Hwy 48 (Sudderth Dr), the main roadway through Ruidoso. Quite a few shops run for over a mile with plenty of great dinning locations as well. This town reminds me of Incline Village at Lake Tahoe. Ruidoso has lots of summer tourists (6500 ft) that are escaping the heat as well as a very busy ski season all winter.

hey there. i'm from ruidoso. the street mechem is hwy 48. if you come back this way, go down mechem all the way to capitan, take a right at the dead end, and go to the town of lincoln. it is the only existing true old west town in the united states; where billy the kid escaped from jail.
