Having left Silver City we have arrived in Ruidoso, NM (east/central NM) and are staying at Riverside RV which is about 6500 ft set in the Gila National Forest. After our arrival we learned that the entire forest is closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic until further notice due to the high fire danger. A few of the sights that we were hopeful to see are just not available. Will post a few pics of Ruidoso shortly. Below is a few photo's of our site.
