Oh, did you two watch the HBO series called "Big Love"? It was on in 2006 and again over the Summer...with Bill Paxton and Jeanne Tripplehorn? It was such a good show. It was about the goings-on of the LDS Church fundamentalists in Utah (FLDS), and the polygamy of some of the families to this day. It was quite the spicey little drama! We were hooked. One of my relatives is veteran actor and she was on the show from time to time. She lived in Utah for several years, mingled with a lot of people of the FLDS faith, and she was able to contribute to some of the storylines for the HBO series.
Pictures like this, even though probably not linked to that, just remind me of how there is so much fascinating history there in that entire area. I would love to know the story behind this homestead....who they were, how they got by, and who they met while living there.
