Since we are leaving the area on Saturday, thought a trip to Santa Barbara would be a nice day trip. The above pic was taken from the pier (called Sterns Wharf), looking back at the coastline.
We took in the zoo which was a neat experience. Nothing to compare to the San Diego Zoo, but a nice zoo none the less. The below pics were taken there.

You guys are taking some great photos! These are beautiful. Also, Shirley, we haven't been on a trip without Emmy since you retired, we can't bear to leave with her with anyone else!...so she is getting a lot of traveling in too lately! We call her our "Roaming Knome". So, if you guys see a black SUV go wizzing by with a big white head sticking out the window, you'll know you just saw the Roaming Knome :-)!
