Cape Flattery
Looking straight forward (due west) is an offshore land mass with an old lighthouse. Although unoccupied, it is still working and maintained by the Coast Guard.
Apparently this "island" and the cape were connected at one time. The sea is very relentless and has created many of these land masses which are called "sea stacks".
