Two for the road: June 2009

We decided to take a tour of this highway have posted some photo's to give a look at some beautiful countryside.

Stopped to take a look at the "Ben Lilly Memorial Trail" while on this highway and thought a few photo's would provide a look at some of the sights.

This rock formation sure had a lot of colors and thought is was worth a post.

My better half taking in the sights just off this trail.

Walking on this trail came across this small cactus growing out of the rocks.

Took this photo from one of the turnouts looking east towards the Gila Nat'l Forest.

This highway goes by Lake Roberts which is a great fishing lake sitting at about 6200 ft.

A look at this lake from the shoreline.

As we were heading back home wanted to post a photo of just one of the many vista's from the highway. Plenty of horse and cattle ranches in the area.

Just in case you may have forgotten what we looked like thought an "arms length" photo would be in order.
